A romantic and
inspiring all media working retreat for artists, photographers,
writers, their
spouses and friends in the beautiful French Pyrenees.
It
includes:
Choice of
one or two
weeks.
$100-
discount if you
choose a two week stay.
Transportation
from Lourdes (TGV train
station) or Tarbes
(airport) and back.
Housing in
an elegant
early 1900s hotel.
French
style meals
including wine.
Breakfast
and Dinner
included.
No
organized
instruction. Daily group critique of our
work.
Daily en
plein air
painting excursions.
Excursions will
include, but are not limited, to the following:
Cirque de Gavarnie
One of the most
popular tourist sights in the Pyrenees.

cascades off the mountain into space, encircled by eleven 9,800 ft.

Le Pont
d’Espagna
A scenic old stone
bridge high over the confluence of two foaming “gaves.”(mountain river).
Luz-St-Sauveur
“The oldest, most
attractive part of Luz St.Sauveur is its upper quarter, hosting a
Monday
market. It radiates from the fortified 12th C. church of
Saint-Andre.”(The Rough Guide to the Pyrenees).
Crossing the river we’ll visit the 13th C. Chateau Sainte-Marie.
Bagneres-de-Bigorre
“ The ‘in’ place
for George Sand, Rossini, Gustave Flaubert, in the first half of the 19th
C., now hosts Musee Salies, an elegant art collection, with some
surprising
